Amcal Chloramphenicol Eye Drops 10mL is for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis.
| Warnings | Do not use: for more than 5 days in total except on medical advice; in children under 2 years of age except on medical advice; contact lens wearers should not use this product except on the advice of a doctor or optometrist; if your eye infection does not improve within 48 hours, seek immediate medical advice; do not touch dropper tip to any surface including the surface of the eye as this may contaminate the solution. Contains phenylmercuric nitrate. FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. |

| Storage & Disposal | Store at 2-8 degrees opened. Refrigerate. Do not freeze. On opening, the drops may be stored below 25 degrees. The contents of this product is sterile provided the bottle is intact. Discard unused content 4 weeks after opening. |
| Dosage | Adults and children 2 years & over: Instil 1 or 2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 2 to 6 hours for 2 to 3 days. The interval between doses may then be increased. Continue treatment for at least 48 hours after the eye appears normal. Do not use for more than 5 days in total except on medical advice. Tighten the cap on the nozzle; the spike on the cap will pierce the vial; dispense drops with gentle pressure; replace the cap after every use. |
