Amcal Famciclovir Once 3 tablets contains Famciclovir 500mg. One dose treatment of cold sore.
| Warnings | DO NOT USE: If under 18 years of age; If you have an allergy to famciclovir or penciclovir, or to any of the ingredients in this product; If you have problems with your immune system; If you have kidney problems, unless advised by a doctor; Do not repeat treatment within 7 days; If your cold sore symptoms do not improve within a few days, or if they become worse, tell your pharmacist or doctor. ASK YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE USE: If you have high blood pressure, heart problems, liver problems, diabetes or other medical conditions; If you are taking other medicines regularly; If you have symptoms and signs of an infection other than your cold sore; If you are pregnant or may become pregnant, or are breastfeeding. |

| Dosage | In immunocompetent adults 18 years and over; Take all 3 tablets in this pack as a single dose with or without food; Swallow tablets whole with a glass of water; Take as soon as possible after the first symptoms (e.g. tingling, itching or burning) or signs (e.g. redness, swelling) of a cold sore; Best results are achieved by taking early. |
