Amcal osteo paracetamol 665 mr tablets are effective for the relief of persistent pain associated with osteoarthritis, muscle aches and pains such as backache. Also used for the effective temporary relief of pain and discomfort associated with: • Headache • Tension headache • Colds and flu • Toothache and pain after dental procedures • Period pain Paracetamol also reduces fever.
| Warnings | Do not use amcal osteo paracetamol 665 mr tablets: • if you are allergic to paracetamol • more frequently than every 6 hours • if using any other medicines containing paracetamol unless advised to do so by a doctor or pharmacist • for children below age 12 • for more than 48 hours for children aged 12-17 years except on medical advice • for more than a few days at a time in adults except on medical advice • if any of the seals on this packaging are broken • if the packaging use-by date has expired check with your doctor before using if you: • have liver or kidney problems • are taking warfarin (a medicine used to thin the blood) stop use and tell your doctor if you: have an allergic reaction, shortness of breath or wheezing after taking amcal osteo paracetamol 665 mr tablets keep to the recommended dosage if an overdose is taken or suspected, ring the poisons information centre (australia 13 11 26) or go to the hospital immediately even if you feel well because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage if left untreated. |

| Dosage | Adults and Children 12 years & over: Take 2 tablets swallowed whole with water, three times a day every 6-8 hours. (maximum 6 tablets in 24 hours). • Doses should be equally spaced throughout the day • Can be taken with or without food • The tablets must not be crushed |
