MELOLIN is a low-adherent, absorbent dressing that absorbs excess fluid from moderately exuding wounds. It consists of three layers: a low‑adherent perforated film, a highly absorbent cotton/polyester pad and a hydrophobic backing layer. This structure allows for drainage of exudate, reducing trauma to healing tissue.<sup>1</sup> It is easily conformable and<br />retains its integrity when cut.
