Pharmacy Care early detection pregancy test, 3 tests. Works by detecting a very small amount of the pregnancy hormone human Chronic Gonadotropin (hCG) in the urine (as low as 25mLU/mL). The hormone hCG is produced soon after conception and increases throughout the first trimester. If your test result is negative (not pregnant) before your missed period, but believe you may be pregnant, you should repeat the test in 48 hours, or the day after your missed period. If you test positive (pregnant) but think you are not pregnant, you should consult your doctor. All results should be confirmed by a healthcare practitioner before making decisions about future medical care.
