| Warnings | Do not cut the dressing as the bacterial barrier and fluid handling capabilities may be compromised. The use of oxidizing agents e.g. hydrogen peroxide and hypochlorite solutions should be avoided with ALLEVYN ADHESIVE as these can break down the absorbent component of the dressing. ALLEVYN ADHESIVE is a singly use product. Re-use of this dressing may cause cross contamination which may lead to infection. If reddening or sensitization occurs, discontinue use and see you healthcare professional. Whilst showering, care must be taken to avoid wetting of the dressing. Do not expose the dressing to direct spray or submerge. |
