Amcal Decongestant Nasal Spray 20mL is for the temporary relief of the following cold and flu symptoms: colds, flu, hay fever & sinusitis.
| Warnings | Do not use for more than a few days at a time unless a doctor has told you to. If symptoms persists for more than 3 days or if fever becomes worse, consult your doctor. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Excessive use can be harmful and increase the risk of heart attack, stroke or liver damage. Do not give to children who: have a stomach ulcer or other stomach disorders; have impaired kidney function or heart failure; are suffering from dehydration through diarrhoea or vomiting; are allergic to aspirin, ibuprofen, anti-inflammatory medicines or other medicines used for pain relief; are allergic to hydroxybenzoate preservatives or benzoates. If your child gets an allergic reaction stop giving and see your doctor immediately. Unless advised by a doctor, do not use; with other medicines containing ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines; if your child has asthma; if your child is taking other medicines regularly or other medicines for pain relief. Adults considering taking this product should note that it should not be used at all during the last 3 months of pregnancy. Do not use if trying to become pregnant. Contains: Hydroxybenzoates, benzoates and saccharin. This product contains Maltitol up to 16.5 g in the maximum daily dose of 60 mL. Products containing Maltitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea. |

| Dosage | Directions for Use: Remove bottle from carton. Remove cap and prime pump several times. Blow nose gently. Keep head upright. Hold the bottle firmly. Insert the nozzle into one nostril, closing the other nostril with a finger. Depress pump firmly and sniff deeply. Always make sure you replace the protective cap to keep the nozzle clean. Pump pack should only be used by one person. Adults & children 12 years and over: 1-2 sprays per nostril, 2-3 times a day when necessary. Children 6-11 years: 1-2 sprays per nostril, 2-3 times a day when necessary. |
