| Storage & Disposal | Store below 25°c. Do not refrigerate. Protect from light. Do not use if cap seal is broken or missing. To open child resistant cap, push down and turn anticlockwise. Ensure that child resistant cap is engaged by tightening the cap. |
| Dosage | Shake well before use. Use strictly as directed. Repeat 4 hourly up to 4 times in 24 hours if required. Amcal Children's Paracetamol Elixir may be mixed with water or fruit juice if required. Do not administer for more than 48 hours or exceed the recommended dose without doctor's advice. Age: 1 - 2 years: 6mL - 8mL (10 - 12kg) Age: 2 - 3 years: 8mL - 9mL (12 - 14kg) Age: 3 - 4 years: 9mL - 10mL (14 - 16kg) Age: 4 - 5 years: 10mL - 11mL (16 - 18kg) Age: 5 - 6 years: 11mL - 13mL (18 - 20kg) Age: 6 - 7 years: 13mL - 14mL (20 - 22kg) Age: 7 - 8 years: 14mL - 16mL (22 - 25kg) Age: 8 - 9 years: 16mL - 18mL (25 - 28kg) Age: 9 - 10 years: 18 mL - 20mL (28 - 32kg) Age: 10 - 11 years: 20mL - 23mL (32 - 36kg) Age: 11 - 12 years: 23mL - 26mL (36 - 41kg) If you know that your child's weight is less than the weight corresponding to their age in the table, choose the dose for their weight. |
