- Shake well before using. Instill one or two drops in the eye(s) as needed and blink. Systane (A trademark of Novartis) Complete Lubricant Eye Drops may be used as needed throughout the day or as directed by your healthcare professional to relieve the symptoms of dry eye. It may be used prior to inserting contact lenses and after the removal of contact lenses. Immediately before using a bottle for the first time, break the safety seal around the neck area and dispose the plastic ring responsibly.
