Jack Perkins lives with Type 1 diabetes and shows Australians every day that diabetes doesn’t slow you down. Among his sporting accomplishments include his first Virgin Australia Supercars Championship race win alongside James Courtney at the Gold Coast 600 in 2015, and in 2019 the duo claimed third place at the Bathurst 1000.
While most people know Jack for racing Supercars, this year’s partnership with Amcal will see him driving for greater awareness and understanding, and importantly early detection for the condition through monthly tips and advice. Learn more about the risk factors and if you think you or a loved one might be at risk of type 2 diabetes, book a diabetes screening assessment at your local Amcal Pharmacy.
