Product Description

 Amcal Children's Ibuprofen Suspension is an alcohol free liquid with an orange flavour. It is specific for the temporary relief of children’s minor pains and fevers.

 Active Ingredients

Each 5 mL contains:

Ibuprofen 100 mg

 Free from gluten and lactose.  Contains sucrose.

Excipients

 Amcal Children's Ibuprofen Suspension is alcohol free.

Contains: Hydroxybenzoates and Sucrose 600mg/mL.

 Indications for Use

Amcal Children’s Ibuprofen Suspension provides temporary relief of pain and discomfort associated with

• Headaches
• Teething
• Earache
• Backache
• Dental procedures
• Muscular aches and pain
• Sore throat
• Immunisation
• Symptoms of colds and flu
• Reduces fever

Directions for use

Use only as directed.  May be taken every 6 to 8 hours as required with a maximum of 4 doses in 24 hours.  This product is better tolerated with food or milk.

Not to be used by infants under 6 months.  Seek medical advice before giving this medication to infants aged 6 – 12 months. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days or if fever worsens, consult your doctor.  If a child gets an allergic reaction, stop use and see a doctor immediately.  Excessive use can be harmful.

Warning/Side Effects

Do not use this product if you have a stomach ulcer, or other stomach disorder, impaired kidney function or heart failure; if you are pregnant; if you are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines.  Unless a doctor has told you to, do not use this product for more than a few days at a time; with other medicines containing ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines, if you have asthma.

Do not use if tamper evident seal on bottle cap is broken or missing.
